MJ Computer Services is owned and operated by me, Jeremy Pressel.  I have been working in the computer industry professionaly full time since 2002.  I have been using computers since I was 12 years old.  I remember when I got my first PC.  It was a Compaq Presario with an Intel i486-DX2 33Mhz processor.  One of my first experiences was tweaking my emm386 file to allocate additional Extended Memory so I could play 3D games.  In the process, I managed to cause many of my regular programs to stop functioning.  I was sure I would be in big trouble.  It took alot of tinkering, but I finally was able to fix the problem and get my games running before I got into some real trouble.  All that without the Internet!  Well, since then I have had a real passion for computers.  It's something that comes naturally to me and it made sense to make it my career.

I started doing private consulting professionaly on the side basically about the time I started college.  I earned a degree in Integrated Applications as well as Advance Information Systems.  I was working as a Webmaster/Network Administrator at a Local Government organization in Salem, OR when I decided it was time to take my private business to the next level.  I resigned from my position and went out on my own full time.  Since then I have built a relationship with many new customers in the Lebanon and surrounding areas.  I have enjoyed being in business for myself and so far it has worked out quite well.  I love helping people with there computer problems and making friends in the process.
