Custom Built PCs

I build high quality PCs customized to meet your specific needs.  As with most other things in life, when it comes to computers, you get what you pay for.  Mine are no exception.  I have the ability to build you a $400 computer similar to what you might find at a large retail store or online from Dell, Gateway, or similar factory built computers.  But to do that I would have to use low quality, poorly engineered components.  Most of which use some non-industry standard (proprietary) technology.  Making it very difficult to integrate, upgrade, or even maintain a well running PC.

Instead I use trustworthy high quality components that perform better and last longer than that of those found in factory PCs.  All my computers come with a standard 1-year limited warranty on parts and labor.  However, I do my best to ensure that you won't have to use it.  But I know the reality is that there are production flaws that slip through the cracks from time to time and I want you to be protected in those situations.

Most of the PC's I build fall between $600 and $1000 but don't  let me stop you there if you are looking to buy your dream computer.  I can build everything from your basic Internet computer to super high performance gaming PC's on the cutting edge of technology.  It all depends on what your looking for and how much you want to spend.

New and Used Parts

If your looking for parts I may have what you need.  I have a fairly healthy stock of used parts both legacy and current.  If your looking to upgrade your graphics card or hard drive I can help you there as well.  I don't stock too many new parts because they lose value so fast.  But I can get anything you need if your willing to wait for them to ship out.  Just give me a call for pricing.

AVG Internet Security

There are many security suites out there.  The more well known ones like Norton or McAfee can usually do a decent job of keeping your computer virus free.  However, in my experience they cause more problems than they fix.  They are very heavy weight and when they do have bugs or conflicts, it can be very complicated to clean up the mess.

I've been using AVG products since around 2002.  In that time I have seen it pickup malware that was missed by other top brand security software and it is by far the most lightweight of any I have tested.  There is a free version available but I recommend purchasing the full version for it's more advanced features.  It's definately worth it to have the ability to catch a virus as soon as it is introduced to your system rather than having to wait for the daily scheduled scan to run.  There are also many other features to aid in the fight against identity theft as well as protecting you against malicious web sites.
